Understanding the No Surprise Act
The No Surprise Act, a federal law effective as of January 1, 2022, is designed to protect patients with most types of insurance from unexpected out-of-network medical bills. This law aims to ensure that you are not burdened with surprise costs after receiving emergency care.
Our Commitment to Transparent Billing
At RapidCare ER, we are committed to transparent billing practices. We do not, and will never, balance bill. This means you should never receive a surprise bill from your insurance company after visiting our facility. However, while we strive to protect our patients from such issues, some insurance companies may unlawfully attempt to charge you for emergency services.
